Every year there are companies that congratulate their top sales people with a special trip for them and a guest. I am fortunate enough to have been a part of these elite groups of people and to have had the opportunity to travel to some amazing places with them to be their personal paparazzi! These trips are a tough thing to win for these sales people. They work hard and have earned every minute of fun and relaxation. One of the best bartenders in North Beach… Mike McCourt. He may not like to use the computer to ring up your tab but he’ll give you a good story , a laugh and let the youngsters take care of all that techie stuff.

This was such a highlight photo session for me in 2012 . I was asked by this wonderful young man to document this huge surprise for his girlfriend ( soon to be fiance). I met him earlier in the day to go over the plan with him and then got myself to Fort Mason hang out in the park while I waited for them to arrive. He had friends and family fly in for the big event. Both sets of parents were hiding in the bushes while I waited for them to walk into the park. She was completely shocked and surprised. I found myself shaking in anticipation as he got on one knee and cried as she jumped into his arms and said yes… I just kept hitting the shutter button to make sure I got every moment!! Love is alive in SF.

In July of 2011 I signed myself up for the National Association of Proffessional Child Photographers photo retreat not really knowing what I was getting myself into. I came home inspired by the beauty of Vail, Colorado and the many incredible instructors & photographers that participated in this event. I would highly recommend anybody looking to learn more about photographing children to sign up for one of these retreats. You won’t be disappointed. Here is a slideshow of some of the highlights I shot during that week. Enjoy.
